During my undergraduate studies in the late 80's, one of my history professors was an expert in the history of time. This early introduction to the idea that time is a cultural agreement has continued to echo and influence me. And living in local villages in Bali for six winters finally crystalized how impactful our personal and collective beliefs about time can be.
